Ginni DemkoGinni Demko is a Licensed Social Worker who received her Bachelor of Art from Lewis University and Master of Social Work from Aurora University.

Ginni has experience working in the areas of prevention educating from youth to the community, intervention with community case management, and recovery in the setting of IOP behavioral and addiction treatment from those aged 13 and up since 2015.  Her passion truly is for helping others find their own voice and reaching their goals.  People are resilient and flexible, but sometimes need some assistance.

Ginni utilizes a collaborative approach with her clients to exploring areas of difficulty and believes it is a privilege to be part of the healing process.  With meeting a client where they are, it allows for a joint effort between the therapist and client to work together identifying negative thought patterns and behaviors that are holding one back from their goals in order to learn new ways of reacting to challenges to promote personal growth.

Ginni’s practice style is primarily based in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy and anywhere in between to tailor the therapeutics technique to each client’s individual needs.  She continuously attends clinical training seminars to enhance her knowledge base and keep current on the most effective evidence-based practices.

Experienced with individual to group therapy in a variety of areas including depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, personality disorders, stress, relationship issues, self-injurious behavior, self-esteem issues, and dual diagnosis.

Ginni joined Crossroad in 2023 and sees clients out of the Morris location.
